Hi All.
I recently had some work done by my ISP, and they used www.speakeasy.net to test my connection speeds for downstream and upstream. I went to this site on the repairman's advice and thought I'd check it out. Unfortunately, the speed test is a flash-based system.I get a couple boxes that say "Flash Movie Start" and "Flash Movie End", but none of the buttons show so I can't launch the test, tell what the progress is, anything like that. Now, as I'm sure has happened to many of you, I've noticed I can use some Flash sites and not others. I 'm running the latest update to JAWS 10, and the latest update to FireFox 3. IE7 wouldn't even show the Flash, even though I DO NOT have JAWS set up to ignore Flash. So , I'm looking for a site that has a somewhat screenreader-friendly speed test I can run once in a while. Any suggestions? Thanks. Wes PS: The reason my Comcast guy used Speakeasy.net is because we're in Everett, WA, and they're just down the road in Seattle, so the servers are local. --- Follow me on Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/wesderby Check me out on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/wderby For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
