Hi David, John, Rogelio, & RTP, Thank all of you for your help. I knew about the manual compaction of folders steps but, I thought there was a way to turn automatic compaction on or off. I was probably confusing automatic compaction with desktop cleaner wizard turn on/off. John, thanks for the clean-up wizard on/off steps. Again, thank you all for the help. Take care. Mike
