Why would there be a reason to clean up one's desktop?

Hi Mike,
Go to the control panel, and then Display.
Once the dialogue opens, go to the desktop tab, and then tab to customize
and spacebar that.
Tab to the run desktop cleanup wizard checkbox.
You know the rest.
As for the compacting of folders in O E, Dave has already covered that,
and that is what I do.
I don't know why, but every time the auto compact comes up, it errors, so
I do it manually every so often.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Desktop clean up wizard
Hi All,
Where do I find the check box to turn the Desktop Clean-Up Wizard on or
off?
& Where would I find the option of whether I want OE to automatically
compact folders every so often or not? All information will be greatly
appreciated. Thanks much. Take care.
Mike
