But what if I didnt want to or couldn't phone them? As I live in the UK it
would cost an arm and a leg to ring somewhere in Redmond. Please advise.

I got something for my guy Chris and Gerald. I have a major virus and none
of my programs detect them. So I started to read through the help in MSE
because the virus would not let me submit a ticket on line for tech support
which they give you the option to call you by phone. So I found a phone
number even and they lead me to a download of some special tools that is
supposed to get rid of any virus, worm, etc.l. While Avast was getting
ignorant with me on their e-mails. Avast is no competition in my overall
initial analysis. Just thought I'd let the group know. They were patient
and friendly on the phone.
