Regelio, why would the viruses be intentionally be put there and what is your information source? marilyn ----- Original Message ----- From: "ROGELIO TERRAZAS" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, June 24, 2009 6:46 AM Subject: [Blind-Computing] Warning : Thankfully my computer is back in order. I just wanted to give the group a heads up. I have extensively been using a computer since 1997. I had never had a virus. I have been going on recently since January some different blind web sites and I have already caught 4 virus's. It seems as if they are intentionally being put there. There was a couple of times where I was on regular web sites and my virus detects me right away. These are all on blind web sites. This last virus I caught, trying to download and install, a feature for my Theophilos Bible Program to have the help files. Which is something they took out for Vista users. My main point is, " Whenever you download of a blind web site save the file instead, thoroughly scan it and then install it ". I am used to running the downloaded installation directly from the web site. These blind web site's have some tricky virus's intentionally put there. Just thought I'd let you know. : [email protected] : : : --- : avast!
