Is that then not a setting within skype itsself? The only settings I've really changed there are firstly turning on the accessibility options from the view menu, where you might find the accessibility submenu, but you want to check both sub items there, and then in the actual options dialogue from the tools menu, options, under something like keyboard shortcuts, you can tell it to enable keyboard shortcuts like answering a call with alt + page up.
I also see that in the general options grouping, the first option actually relates to what the default action should be for double clicking (entering should perform the same action), and there are radio buttons there, and the default seems to be to call someone, so that might be relevant?
