I found that upgrade installs takes longer and maybe not all programs, files and settings are migrated. Also if your current Windows installation is broke for some reason, the upgrade will not fix that broken part(s). If this has changed then fine and I apologize in advance. Anyhow, you'll have to clean install eventually anyway since upgrading from 7 RC to 7 retail is not possible.

Also, why is it better to do a clean install, rather than an upgrade?

If this is the case, is it reversible? I think it was a clean install,
because my brother in-law did it and he is a I T, and very good at his work.

No, I'm not sure on that one. Cliff I think you did an upgrade rather than a

custom (clean) install.

Whenever I turn my computer on, in order for me to type in my password,
the
screen tells me I have to push Alt Control, Delete, then it will let me
enter my password. Does anyone know why this is? I am running windows 7
RC, with Jaws 10's latest version. But this was happening before I
downloaded windows 7. Thanks.
