if it is a usb drive then it should automatically start up once hooked up
and will be recognized as the next drive letter in line. meaning if you have
a C and D drive already on your netbook it should show as E. Hook it up and
then insert the cd not before the hook up. see if that works. is autoplay
enabled on your netbook?

Does anyone with a Netbook know how to use an external CD/DVD drive with a
Netbook? I tried E:, F: and D:. I am trying to set up Jaws and I can't.
