maybe the USB isn't active yet?
does the netbook make any sound when the cable is connected? mean the USB
one.
wonder if you could copy the installation files from the disk on to a pen
drive. no idea if it's possible. just making suggestions.

Does anyone with a Netbook know how to use an external CD/DVD drive with a
Netbook? I tried E:, F: and D:. I am trying to set up Jaws and I can't.
