Ken, you may want to try switching wireless channels in the router. The problem may be one of network saturation if there are many other wireless networks (or even other wireless devices) in range. I battled this problem in a friend's apartment. Every apartment in the building has a wireless router and it is in rnage of every wireless router of the buildings on either side. No matter which channel I used, network saturation was significant, with as many as 25 networks in range on any channel. In the end I ended up setting them up with a Bluetooth Personal Area Network. I have XP Pro and hooked up a NETGEAR WGR614v9 router. The computer that is connected wirelessly keeps losing connection. I can go on the internet or get my Email, but then it loses connection and I have to reboot the computer to get connected again. Any ideas on what setting I might be missing or what I need to do to keep this from happening?
