to update your adobe flash player, and, adobe reader do the following;

1, first go to:
www.adobe.com

next enter on the, accessibility link.

you will find this link at the top of the page.

2,  now down arrow until you see;


For users with mobility impairments, it is important to update your version 
of Flash Player; early versions prevented users from tabbing between the 
navigation
bar and links elsewhere on the page. You can download the latest version of
Flash Player.
now, the flash player is a link, press enter.
navigate down the page until you see;

Also install:

1.8MB

Free Google Toolbar
this is checked, use spacebar to uncheck this item. now, navigate further 
down the page and enter on;
Agree and install now
note, you may receive a message,


STEP 1

If this happens, select the "Click here" link and choose "Install ActiveX 
control".

You may be presented with a series of User Account Control dialog boxes. 
For each of these, click either "Continue" or "Install", as appropriate.

You will be redirected to a confirmation page once the download and 
installation is complete.  Installation should take less than a minute with 
a broadband
connection.

your adobie flash player should start downloading.
