Hi, I've seen this often where the PC is trying to boot from the external HD. For some reason your machine thinks that particular drive should boot, either because of something it senses on the drive or maybe something else has changed. Either keep unplugging it when you reboot or get into the bios and take usb out of the boot order or move it down below your actual internal boot drive.
