I have a program on the server called copy path that will do exactly what
you are asking for. I wouldn't be without it myself.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Copying file path name

  Good morning,

I was recently using the search for files & folders on my XP
machine with JAWS 11 (don't think the version is relevant
but listed it anyway) The file I was looking for was located
in a directory with a very long path name to it's location.
Part of it sounded like it may be cut off due to it's
length. Is there a way to copy that pathname and then paste
it into notepad and read the entire thing or save for future
  reference?

  thanks
  Al
