Thank you John, I was going nuts trying to figure what to do. Couldn't find any think to click on in any of the tool bar options and nothing in the help menu. Probably there, but I just couldn't find it.

Thanks again,

Ken

Hi Rick,

I've gone in and configured the settings I want and it is reading the CD,
but how do I begin the ripping?

Thanks for yur help. This looks like a program that I am going to use a lot.

internetwhileripping cd's

Hi Ken,
I use CDEX for ripping all of my cd's.
Once you set it up, it's pretty much automatic every time.
You can find it under the audio/video heading at
http://www.blind-computing.com/directory.html
I would recommend version 1.51.
HTH,
Rick Justice

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Automatically getting cd info from internet
whileripping cd's

Hello all,

I believe there is a way to have Windows Media player automatically go
out to the internet and get information on a cd while you are ripping
it. I think this is correct, but I am seeing no information in the
help area explaining how to do it.

If it can be done, can someone tell me the steps to take? Also, if it
cannot be done with Windows Media Player, can someone tell me what
program I could use to do what I want while ripping?

I am using Windows XP Pro and Windows Media Player 10.

Thanks,

Ken
