Hi Richard:
I don't know if this will work for totally blind programming, but you can
checkout:
http://www.justbasic.com/
I just downloaded it an I am going to give it a try myself I have need to
write a small command line utility and figured I would give it a try.
Let us know if you have any success with it and I'll do the same.
John

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Programming for the totally blind
Hello,
This is my first time using the site. Please allow for a novice and
someone
just feeling his way around.
Years ago, I had a great computer that was designed for the blind. It was
called The Eureka A4 and it was great. One application was called "Basic
Interpreter" and it both taught and allowed one to actually write programs
in basic. I really enjoyed the programming. Now that I have moved on to a
standard desk computer, use JAWS 10 and would like to play around with
programming again; where can I begin and can I use what is already in
place
on most desk top types of computers to work? Being totally blind, I feel
that this avenue may be my best place to get a start. Thanks in advance,
Rich S.
