Howdy David, Would you or someone else please recommend a good external sound card. I am assuming that all external sound cards are USB powered. Is my assumption correct? I am an XP abuserand all help will be gratefully appreciated. Thanks much. Take care. Mike

Such as, advantages/disadvantages and the way an external sound card works. Personally, I run SoundBlaster Audigy internal sound cards on both our XP machines because that is all I have ever known. I would be interested in hearing if there are any advantages with an external sound card. All advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks much. Take care.
