Okay, I thank you so much. I'm going to try that.

It might be the debuggin' thingy, since it stated it wanted to report it
to Microsoft.
I've had it pop up on mine as well from time to time, and I have the same
results you do.
Maybe this will help you if you follow these steps below...
In the browser go to tools menu, internet options, advanced tab menu.
Now arrow down until you come to script debugging and un check it
also un check show script errors. That should get you going.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Openbook and possible scanner problem
Hi all,
I'm currently using Openbook 7.0, HP Photo Smart C4600, Jaws 10.0,
Windows XP Home Edition and a Dell Laptop.
Here's the problem: When I go into Openbook and scan a document, my
computer freezes up on me. I get a Microsoft error message, but I can't
remember verbatim what it says. I know it gives me the choices to either
send or don't send the error message.
I can't do anything on the computer when this happens.
I called Freedom Scientific and they thought it had something to do with
"Fax Man." I don't know what that is, but they told me where to go to
turn it off, but it wasn't in the list under the service tab in
administrative tools .
Is anyone familiar with this? If so, can you tell me what to do here?
Thanks.
