Lol It just dawned on me. Are you talking about desktop or laptop computers? In laptops most will only have the opportunity to turn the screen way low, but not entirely off. The programs that you can install to turn them off will only stay off until you press a key again, then the screen comes back on. On mine I just have the screen light turned to the lowest possible, saves some energy probably in the process as well.
