Oh, yes and another symptom of whatever is that in the send receive dialogue of outlook express, if I read it's status bar, it just says 12 to me instead of telling me how many tasks have been successful etc., but if I switch over to jaws cursor and move down there, the info is there, but not being 'seen' by jaws or something.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Display settings on a newly reloaded XP machinerunning jaws 11.0.746

Just reloaded my home machine, and it's running jaws 11.0.746, but something that didn't have before is now here.

Although made sure loaded display drivers etc. before installing jaws, and the only real difference is only loaded jaws 11 on it this time, is that when I switch between open windows using alt + tab, it seems to read the window titles as if they were overlapping or something, even if one of the windows has since been closed.

If I do reread the title of a window using jaws key + T thereafter though it seems fine, and same if I switch to jaws cursor and go have a 'look', but this is a bit irritating some of the time when trying to decide which one of several open windows I want to end up on, and although emailed FS support a day or two ago, no answer, so just wondered if anyone has any ideas relating to what screen resolution I should specifically target since have already made sure it's set to 1024x768 which is what am sure was on before, and see in colour levels I can only choose from either 16bit or 32bit options, but don't think that would have made all that much difference since it's highly unlikely any machine nowadays is set to something like 256 colours etc.

Anyway, any ideas on what setting I should try making a change to, or should I try something like a jaws repair - 4 days after doing the complete reload?

Stay well
