Hi Gerald, I am wondering, if that is it's only advantage over the Windows XP defragmenter, is it really worth the install? I wouldn't be as concerned with speed as much as I would be with doing a better job, and how can a person really know if one is better than another? Try Auslogics Disk Defrag, which is free and runns faster than the Windows Disk Defrag utility. http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/Hard-Disk-Utils/Auslogics-Disk-Defrag.shtml Gerald ----- Original Message ----- From: "Doug Leavens" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, December 27, 2009 3:35 PM Subject: [Blind-Computing] Disk defrag program > Using the microsoft built-in disk defrag takes forever on my laptop > running jfw 11. > Is there some software I can get to do the job quicker and more > thoroughly? > > Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional! > For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: > http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
