Why not just put NVDA on a shortcut key?
Say control alt N.
This is very easy to do and once set up makes it easier to call up NVDA
than narrator.

Hi,

If I wanted to use NVDA instead of the default narorator voice how would I
set this up?

Pretty much when pressing window key u and alt N, instead of hearing the
default narorator, I would hear nvda.
