Hi Pete,
In Windows XP,
Go to the start menu, then Accessories, and then Entertainment.
arrow to Volume control,
Press the applications key, and then arrow to properties and press enter.
This will place you on the shortcut tab.
Tab until you come to the shortcut key, hotkey field and then press your key
combination.
Just type the letter or number you want to use, and then tab to the apply
button.
Now, tab again until you come to that field again, and make sure it shows
your selection.
If it does, then tab to the okay button, and spacebar that, you are done.
If not, try another number or letter in that field following the
procedure above until Windows accepts your selection.
Once you get there, You'll get it. smile
If not, just let us know.
HTH,
Rick Justice
