Hi John and the list,
I now plugged in the adapter and started the blazie embosser and as best as I can tell everything is electronically connected. I when to HjPad and typed in a short sentence and tried to Braille it. The embosser did not come up in the list of possible printer choices. What do I do next?
Thank you in advance for your help.

God bless,
Mark

It is very likely that the drivers are already built-in to Windows. Go ahead and try it.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Installing USB to Parallel port adapter questions

Hi
I just bought an older Braille embosser. I also bought the
USB to Parallel port adapter. So I can connect the embosser to my vista home addition computer. When I plug the adapter in to the computer I hear the connect sounds. However, the disk that came with the cable is mystifying. Will I need to install the drivers of from this disk or do you think the cable/ adapter will work any way.

    Thank you.

God bless,

Mark
