Thanks, I followed your suggestion except that I clicked on the graphic to
the left of the file name. I got the System menu for the Document that way
and maximized to fill the entire Excel window. I know there was a hotkey
that brought this up in Vista but I can not remember it now.

I believe there is if I understand what you are trying to
do. It happens to me from time to time. Try these steps:
1. Go to the top of the file (cell A1.
2. route Jaws to PC cursor
3 enable JAWS cursor
4. arrow up until you get to the pull down menu line and
listen for the end where it says minimize, restore, & close
symbol
5. use your arrow keys to get to the restore button and push
the left mouse button (num pad slash)

I have an old spreadsheet that only fills about one fourth
of the screen on my current display. I know how to get to
the System menu of the Excel window (Alt + Space) so I can
maximize Excel. Is there a way to get to the System menu to
maximize the Document window within the Excel window?
