I don't understand. The players are free if you are blind. The Library of congress locks their publications to their players because they are publishing materials that sighted people normally would need to pay for. They are giving these materials to the blind for free. But they can only do that if they can limit the ability to distribute this copy righted material freely on the net. Or at least that is the way i understand NLS. If i have gotten it wrong, please enlighten me.
