Ken, does the mse show up on your programs list? Is it in your control
panel? I find it in both places. In the control panel, it says "Used
occasionally" but I'm not shure how often that is. It is not in system
tray. Maybe someone else can help us understand all of this; I hope so.

: Maralyn; It seems to be free; I downloaded *security essencials* from MS,
: but had trouble as when I did so, there was a somewhat familiarsound that
: sounded like a pop!...or maybe a ziiiiiip sound as I am not used to these
: sounds, and thought I had downloaded that peticular file and did a search
: on the putor, but could find nothing that even resembles *security
: essencials* I am perplexed but am still wondering if you or anyone else
on
: list has downloadedthis free security essencials? Ken AB
