Yes, that should work just as well, if mot better. However, not everybody has OpenBook. The same process performed by the script can be accomplished with Microsoft Office. The point of the script is to automate the process. I use this capability much more since I automated the process. I suppose I am too lazy or busy to go through the multi-step process. Version 2 will streamline the process even further.

I am no JAWS or Computer expert by any means, but after doing the below, cannot one simply print out the screen shot and then simply scan it with Open Book?
I have done this in the past.
Yes, graphics will be read as garbage, but simply delete that portion and save the text.

Press print screen to copy the whole screen or alt+print screen to only copy
