Two questions: Did the unit you plugged into the back of the
TV connect to audio out jacks? Where did you hook something
up to on the Victor Stream, the earphone plug?

I think I can add a little to this: I purchased a wireless
head set for my
mother, as she is hard of hearing from Radio shack it has a
transmitter that
plugs into the back of the TV, don't see why this wouldn't
work for stereos,
now let me warn you the price was about $100. I also
purchased a transmitter
that permits my Victor reader stream to be played through
the FM radio in
the car, don't remember the price but wasn't nearly as much
as the TV head
set.

I think, in the past you also got a short range radio
transmitter which
would let you plug it into the output jack on your
computer and then
within something like 50-150m range, you could pick up
it's output on a
somewhat limited radio transmission frequency, but
wouldn't know where to
look for something like this.
The closest had back in 2005 was effectively, an MP3
player you loaded
music onto, then when you plugged it into your car's
cigarette lighter for
power, it would play the music broadcasting it on
something like 88.2MHz
for you to pick it up internally on the car's radio, and I
think they said
it had something like a 15m transmission radius.
