Finding Where You Left Off In An Audio File In Windows Media Player

So you were listening to a book in Windows Media Player and needed to leave before it finished. Now you want to return to the same place you left off.

Method One:

1. You must have the file started playing.

2. Tab to ":seek slider." When the file is playing you can arrow up/down through the file in large or small bites. It moves pretty fast.

Method Two:

You could also

1. When the file is playing, press control plus shift plus the letter f.

Let go of the keys and the file will move forward by itself until pressing the same key combination again. The file will return to playing at the normal speed in the new location.
