Hi,
The only way to do that is to have JAWS say nothing when you type. To do this, go to the default JAWS Configuration Manager by pressing F 2 and then using your up and down arrows to get to Configuration Manager and pressing ENTER.
Next, press ALT S to go to the set options menu.
Arrow down until you hear User options (the first one in the menu). Hit ENTER om that. Now, tab over until you hear: "Typing Echo" combo box. Use the arrows to move through the combo box until ary hear "none".
Thanks,
Aleeha
