Hi Kimsan;

There are probably more advantages to the Pro version of SAS than just
scheduled scanning and automatic updating, but you would have to read their
website to find out exactly what the Pro version has over the free version.
Take care.

Yep. I am aware of what needs to be done in order to not make it sluggish.
Again, I am using the free one and if the only difference is the automatic
  scanning/updating then forget it...

29 dollars is the price I think but there is another 10 dollars to have
the
program on disc as far as it slowing things down at start up there is
settings to change that so it will not start scanning as the computer
starts

  $10 I suare I saw a price for 29.99.
I have mse and superantispyware should I get rid of one or does it matter
because aren't both programs antivirus programs?

Kimson, you get a disc if you pay $10.00 extra which I did. It is a
lifetime one time payment for the program so if you like the program,
that's

  not bad. marilyn

: How do you like the pro version vs the free version? What is the

: I hear it does the same thing, accept that the free one you would need
to

  you

  :
: As far as that " use XP style menues " check box is concerned, if you
are

  either.
: We have been running the Pro version for about 8 months now and it
doesn't
