Hi John,
This is something that, according to the list guidelines should have been sent to the management team, but since you posted it here, I will answer here, and then we will bring this one to a close on-list.
If the discussion pertains to cel phones being connected to the computer
for setup or data transfer, then it is computer related.
However, if the discussion is focused on the use of the phones themselves,
it is off-topic for the list.
There are many devices these days that could be referred to as computers of sorts,
but they do not fall into the guidelines for this list.
People using those types of devices, should seek out lists that are geared for that type of discussion. Blind-computing by design, is limited to the personal computer and it's peripherals
and this in itself covers a very wide range of topics.
The guidelines will stand as is.
Thank you for your input, and if anyone has questions or concerns about how the list is being run, then contact the management team.

Rick,
With all due respect, today's cell phones such as the ATC Ozone are definitely Windows based and many carriers now require that you arrange for a data service as well as a cell phone service. As such, may I suggest that you might want to consider expanding your definitions to include these types of phones since they are definitely computer related.

If we can relate this topic to computers, than the conversation will be allowed, otherwise, bring this one to an end as cel phones are off-topic for this list.
