Ken, Don't have all the notes on hand but check back a month or two in the archives because I know this topic was discussed extensively. Some folks have had no problems and some many. I do know Avast offers a special removal tool but it does require some sighted assistance because you do need to reboot into safe mode. I was able to remove from all 3 of my machines without the tool. Keep us posted
