Hi Roy,
The programs you have will work fine on your new computer. Make sure you
get the 64 bit version of JAWS. This is free if you have a license. I am
not sure about the status of your version of Nero though. Winamp; try to
get the latest if you can. We are at 5.572.
Yes you can network your new computer and your XP one wirelessly, just
like you always could. Just make sure though that any files or folders
you share are in the public folder, otherwise you will have problems,
like access denied messages when trying to access them on your XP
computer. Windows 7 handle file sharing differently to XP, so therefore
XP wouldn't understand the new rules for Windows 7.
Hope this helps.

As the subject line indicates, I am thinking about purchasing a windows

which I need to upgrade:
Jaws 11 currently working on a XP processor;

Winamp 5.03
Nero

In addition, I would like to set up a network sitting 50 feet apart and
need to do it by wireless rather than hard wired. I will be asking later
about the details of such a connection; right now I am asking if a
network of a windows 7 and XP can be networked and if it can be done by
wireless?
I am sorry about such a long question. Thanks in advance for any help.
