I am not sure how much Remote Incident Manager is, however I could loan the Remote Access feature for just $9.95/month. This is part of Samnet, but does not contain the content. The package will allow you to remotely control your home PC, as well as provide remote training and support.

Hi Arianna and everybody,

Since this Team viewer program is not related to any screen reader, i
guess it might work even if the controller and the client have different
screen readers installed. I tried it with jaws on my machine and jaws on
the other clients, however, i can not see why it wouldn't work with any
other screen reader. You all can contribute and try it with different
screen readers and let us know the results please.

I'll try here to find someone who has something other than jaws
installed and will experiment with him/her...

Hamid, I tried team viewer and was able to get into another computer.
However, my computer using Jaws did not talk, so how can I get Jaws to
talk so I can function on another computer? The computer I accessed
did talk, so it was fine on his end. I hope this is clear to you?

Hi there,

There is a free program called team viewer that enables one person to
control another's machine. This program is designed essencially for
the sighted user, however, I tested it with jaws and it works quite
well, in fact there are still some few things one can not do on the
client's machine especially performing specific jaws hotKeys, but i
was able to fix nearly everything that needed to be fixed on that
distant machine.

Hi chris,
If you also purchase their remote incident manager, this is
definitely possible. I got a trial and it worked.
I connected to another computer and was able to do things including
transfer files as well as monitor things the user was doing on the
other end.

Ok, does System Access allow such possibilities? Connecting to users
who
have no screen readers installed?

Hi, why can't you use JAWS Tandem? Are you running JAWS versions other
than 10 or later?

Good morning listers,
I am currently a jaws user. And am looking at serotek's system
access products.
The main reason for this is that I am interested in their remote
incident manager for doing remote access into other systems to
provide support. Does anyone have experience and could help me
compare sa to jaws.
Also I have a pacmate Braille display. I realize that this won't
work with sa and interested in displays that people are using with
sa.
Thanks
