To cut a long story short:
he/she should use these settings:
First they should make sure that POP/Email forwarding is enabled in their
account on the Gmail account. They can enable this by going online and log
in and make these changes before playing around with Outlook.
In Outlook, they have to select the Gmail account:
Choose "Change" button and tab to the "Servers" page and make the following
changes:
Incoming mail server: pop.gmail.com
Incoming port: 995
SMTP Server: smtp.gmail.com
SMTP Port: 587

A fellow list member is having email problems with Outlook2007 and Gmail.
He cannot send or receive email. Would someone please provide the Gmail
