McAfee is quite a good piece of software and I have been using it for more
than ten years. At this point, I have opted to access their subscription
plan and I renew it every year. If anything doesn't work on the system I
can use the DM setup and redownload the software so that I get a clean and
usually a better version than the one before.
You need to use the Jaws cursor to access the components and you have the
option to adjust how you wish to clean files and what you want to do.
You might wish to go to the McAfee site to determine whether you need to
install the McAfee suite or opt for the subscription package which costs
somewhere in the region of USD 39.00.

me pain, also. How does one get to the area where one can configure
mcafee; I am having trouble getting to various sites and I think mcafee is
stopping me; I keep hearing thing like references to my trusted sites and

I thought that would help. However, the McAfee programme on my computer
was configured so that the items in the sent items folder would be deleted
at 4 a.m. on Mondays. That feature has now been unchecked and everything
is working well again.

Hi Francis
Just go to Tools.
Select Options.
From the property sheet that appears, press control+Tab and switch to
the "Send" page.
Here tab once you wil find a field labelled "Keep a copy of sent items
in my 'sent' folder": make sure it is checked.
Once you check this one, click okay. your problem will disappear once
and forever.

I hope someone will be able to help me with this vexing problem. For a
couple of weeks now, I have noticed that copies of messages I have sent
are deleted from the "sent items" folder on my computer and I can't find
out why this is happening. Normally, I would keep messages in that
folder for about five or six months and then delete those messages that
I don't want. Now, all messages are deleted after about five days so,
what can I do to correct this problem. I am using Outlook Express
Version 6.
What should I check or uncheck and where I go to do this.
