I've had to paste links into my browser when I couldn't hit enter on it in
an email and that opened it up for me.

In that case, select the whole line that starts with HTTP:// and copy it
to your clipBoard. Open your browser and press F4 or alt+D or Control+O
whatever you like and paste the clipBoard content and hit enter, it
should open the link.
