when I shut computer down at the close of use for a long period of time,when
I attempt to start it up again I get a dialog box stating this computer is
locked and I need to enter user name:
password:
I know my user name but I don't know the password or if there has ever been
one.
the only way I can get the computer to start is to reboot it by
disconnecting power cord from electrical outlet. for a short time.
when I reconnect the power cord to electrical outlet the computer will start
in usual way any help will be much obliged.I am using windows XP SP
