If you want to connect two desktops, you need a cross over cable.
As I know, you don't need any program. All you have in windows. Only that you need to do is to go to: Control panel, and to start network setup wizard. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Milos Przic" <[email protected]>

Subject: [Blind-Computing] UTP cables, wlan and networking questions

  Hi all,
Although I have been using computer for some 8 years, I didn't have the occasion to network computers, so I don't have any experience with it. I used an utp cable for the wlan connection at university, but am not sure if the same type of cable can be used for networking two computers? If yes, do I need some spetial program for it? And if not, what things would I need to entwork two computers?
Thanks all in advanced, and best regards!
