Hi Matt; I couldn't find a " .DOCX " file extension but, I did find a " .DOX " extension. This is what I found; .dox text file (MultiMate 4.0)
I don't have a " .DOX " file to attempt to assign a file to open it. So, what you can try is; 1. Highlight the file in question. 2. Press your application / context menu key. 3. Arrow down to " Open With " and press enter. 4. A list of possible programs that will open this file will appear. Arrow down the list and select one. Tab to okay and press enter to see if it will open. Something I tried was to change the file extension on a Word document from a " .DOC " extension to a " DOX " extension. I pressed the application key, arrowed to Open With, pressed enter, selected / highlighted Microsoft Word from the list, tabbed to okay, pressed enter, and Hot Damn it opened! Hope this helps. Take care. Mike ----- Original Message ----- From: "Matt" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, August 23, 2010 3:27 PM Subject: [Blind-Computing] Weird extention, what do I do?
