I want to know if I can use an old authorization CD of mine with a more recent version of JAWS.
I had JAWS 11 on my computer but, right now I'm using JAWS 10. I don't have a DVD drive so, I downloaded JAWS 11 from Freedom Scientifics site and everything went smoothly and I never had to manually put in my authorization code. My boyfriend was clicking around my computer this evening because my computer wasn't working right and when he was doing that he clicked on JAWS and I had to restart my computer then the screen came up telling me that JAWS was going to run in demo mode and I needed my authorization code. My boyfriend is sighted and he looked several times on the CD cover and CD themselves and never saw a authorization code. I want to get JAWS 11 running again but, I don't know my code. That is why I want to know if I can use one of my authorization CD from an earlier version of JAWS to complete the process.
