Interesting, This is the first that I read any of the thread. A few weeks
ago I was going to comment that I thought it was one of the best features in
win 7. For instance I just hit the windows key, then a w and enter and my
mail is launched. Similarly the windows key for the search box, e and enter
and internet is launched.

There is no benefit in disabling it, that is why I prefer to remove it.
