Try going to the Control Panel and opening the Indexing Options. Tab around
to the "Troubleshooting" button. It will go through several pages of Help /
hypertext questions to attempt to solve your problem.
It sounds like your index is fouled up. If you have not been fiddleing with
index or search options, the index may just need to be rebuilt. There is
also a button to accomplish this. It takes a long time to index the entire
drive for files and email messages, especially if you have expanded the file
types and / or folders to be indexed.

There is just so much stuff in the world that, to me, is devoid of any real
substance, value, and content that I just try to make sure that I am working
on things that matter.

Hi

messages on this topic. However, if any one has a suggestion on getting my
start menu search box working in windows 7 I would appreciate hearing
them.
God bless,
