Hey there; It's nero 7; I did a restart and that has done the trick, I
think; I'm still not sure I have all the right stuff checked when burning an
audio cd; I don't seem to have any trouble with data ones.

The disk might be dirty. The OS or Nero might be acting up. Lots of simple
things. I would restart and take it from there.
What version of Nero?
