Subject: [Blind-Computing] very unusual problem with my computer screen

Hello everyone,
My desk top computer is on its last legs, but I am trying to use it until it dies. It wouldn't work at all and then my husband opened it and vacumedthe inside. It does come on now. In fact, I am writing this email on it. The problem is this. The monitor does not come on, and the problem is not exactly in the monitor per say. When I burn a CD or do things like that, I try to use my jaws curser, and all jaws says is blank blank. There are certain files that I can't read such as my notepad files. When I first got the computer to come on, jaws said something like the resolution is very low and it said to click this balloon, but we can't see any balloon. Any suggestions? One thing for sure, I can't make this computer any worse than it is.
