  Near the near bottom of the list in Device Manager, there will be a 
grouping
  for Universal Serial Bus Controllers.  You do not want to disable them, 
that
  will not cause Windows to reinstall them.  Instead, just remove them by
  highlighting each one and pressing the Delete key.  Windows should start
  reinstalling each one fairly quickly.  In fact, it might be hard to know
  which ones you already deleted since they come back quickly.
