HELLO GROUP, I have a problem. I'm running Windows 7 Professional, 64 bit with Jaws 12, the latest build. Apparently, I have too many programs running when the computer starts up and they're interfering with the unit's efficiency. This is an AMD processor and to tell you the truth, I wish it wasn't. Anyway, when i looked at the task manager, you wouldn't believe the junk that is being automatically started. 1. How can I get rid of the programs i don't want starting unless I ask them to, using Windows 7? 2. At times, when I'm running Word 2007, it won't let me load Outlook. I go to the desktop, click on Outlook and it just sits there. The only way to get out of it is to press Control Alt Delete and restart the program. That sounds to me like excessive RAM usage and that's why i'm trying to get rid of things like the Smart Video, Apple ITunes and so on. 3. If anyone here has a computer with an AMD processor, how do you get rid of that annoying screen that comes up every time you move. It reads something like, AMD-CCC EEM CAPTURING WINDOW You can't read anything on it so it must be written in Java. When i tried to do a screen shot of it, all i got was a blank screen. Whatever it is, it keeps jumping up and blocking other programs. Sometimes, when I activate a game, it comes up right in the middle of some kind of action and before I can get back, my character is dead. In a word, H'E'E'LP!!
