I've got a netbook here. Actually I got three... It's a very small case (mini-itx). It contains an Intel Atom D510 1.66 ghz cpu (dual core with Hyper Threading). 2gb of ram.
I built this machine to use it as a firewall/router. But I actually tried Windows 7 on this machine and it will do scanning for sure. I also have another mini-itx box with the same cpu but with 4GB of ram. Windows 7 64-bit ran quite smoothly on the 4GB netbook but it's slow compared to my Quad core desktop. I use the 4GB model as a small and nice Linux web server. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Wayne Scott Sent: 23. februar 2011 17:32 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] laptop or netbook >From what I heard, laptops are better tan netbooks. they have more processing memory.
