Go to the folder, and hit Ctrl + F to invoke searching, if in windows XP, make sure all file types is selected, and then in the search box, use wildcard characters to search for a specific file type - as in *.htm for all .htm files, then in search results, ctrl + A to select all, Ctrl + X to cut them to clipboard, open a new explorer window, browse to destination, and paste them there with Ctrl + V.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] How to mark and separate files from large list

Greeting All,
Recently, my files got mixed under one folder. I have about 5000 different types of files in this folder. Its really tedious to pick each file one by one to separate and move to another folder. How do I mark and separate those files at once which have the same file extension, Like: .doc, .html mp3, zip, ETC.
I am using JFW V9 with Win XP.
Thanks in advance.
